Learning for Life
A common approach on inclusive education
girl child education
education for all
education and livelihood
DDP has teamed up with UK organisation Learning for Life (LfL) as we found that we have much in common: both of us are committed to education, both are established in South Asia and both believe in the idea of working with local partner organisations.

With their motto give an education, change a life, LfL’s work involves making sure that children have the chance to go to school as well as teacher training. It is often necessary for LfL and their partners to devise imaginative responses to difficult conditions – for instance, in post earthquake Pakistan – and the projects they work on are always built to last.

Right now, DDP and LfL are designing and developing a large programme expanding and extending Education and Livelihood Opportunities into Pakistan and Nepal as well as different parts of India. By combining LfL’s experience and expertise in education generally with ours in disability and education, we are planning new initiatives to improve the quality of education for all children in the areas where we work.
